1. Improve your password hygiene: use strong passwords, a password manager and never reuse passwords.
2. Use a reliable, paid antivirus solution and layer up with a proactive anti-malware product.
3. Back up your data in at least 2 places. Do it often, so you don’t lose progress.
4. Stick to the places on the web where you know they pay attention to security.
5. Never stop learning! The web evolves and so should your basic cyber safety knowledge.
